The Windsor mattress has been in the Burgess range for at least 45 years. The product utilises a standard 288-count spring and has always been very popular when used in conjunction with a 6" base on legs, although the mattress is suitable when used with any of our bases. The mattress is offered in one tension.

Filling Specification

Woollen Typar insulator, which is hand stitched to the spring and layers of wool.

Finishing Specification

The border is machine quilted. Four reinforced flag stitched handles are added to all sizes along with white plastic ventilators to allow the mattress to breathe. Finally the mattress is tufted with white felt washers attached by hand with cotton popins.
